I’m Todd Sanders, I served as Vice President of Steinway & Sons – Americas from 2008-2023, a role in which I oversaw the company’s sales and marketing divisions, the Steinway dealer network, customer satisfaction, Steinway’s famed Concert & Artist department, and the Steinway Selection Room at the company’s historic New York factory. I also lent my expertise to product design, and during my long tenure, contributed several Steinway patents to the iconic piano manufacturer’s portfolio—a legendary patent collection that dates to 1853.

A year after retiring from Steinway, I found myself missing the world of pianos and set out to build the piano store that I would want to buy from. I’m not under any financial pressures, have no sales quotas, and I’m not beholden to any manufacturers. In fact, I don’t even have any salespeople since I prefer to work with each client myself. I waited my entire career to be able to build my ultimate retirement job- surrounded by pianos and having fun with my customers while creating a world-class piano experience.
